5th in the world on APP world tour 2018
Freitas, a multi-faceted waterman, is a formidable competitor on any type of SUP board and rounds out his waterman passion by free diving, outrigger paddling and surfing when the wave reaches the XXL. Mo will help spearhead a new era for the Boardworks brand by pushing the boundaries of his professional career in tandem with the brand’s innovative identity.
Coming off an impressive 2017 season, the 20-year-old Hawaii native is gaining momentum in both surf and stand up paddle (SUP) events and will begin this next competition season as part of the Boardworks family.
Boardworks/Rogue SUP athlete Olivia Piana has spent more time than most atop the podium of the world’s most prestigious SUP event, the ISA World SUP and Paddleboard Championships.
The French SUP star claims five ISA silver medals to her name with results in Peru, Denmark and Fiji. But going into this year’s event Piana had never been crowed world champion.
In 2017 alone, the French native took home a second-place finish at the Pacific Paddle Games, second overall on the Euro Tour and made the podium in both the technical and distance races at the ISA World Championships in Denmark. And while it was clearly a banner year for the young Frenchwoman, you’d hardly know it from her humble presence. Truth is, Piana is just a normal gal who loves to standup paddle.
