Boardworks hosting Earth Day water and beach cleanup!

This Friday, April 22, Boardworks will be celebrating Earth Day by cleaning up our local beaches and waters. Come join us at the Carlsbad Lagoon boat launch from 8:00am to 10:00am at 4215 Harrison Street. This will be an onsite beach and water cleanup in conjunction with H2O Trash Patrol and  Cleanup gear and paddle boards will be provided, but if you have your own to bring that is of course welcome! Happy Earth Day and hope to see you there!

About H2O Trash Patrol

H2O Trash Patrol has made it their mission to provide marine debris removal services to public and private waterways, to provide environmental job training, and to provide marine debris awareness and education to children and young adults. H2O Trash Patrol regularly schedules public community-based waterway cleanups every other Saturday. Volunteers are always welcome and invited. To date H2O Trash Patrol has removed over 23,000 lbs of trash from the waters and its surrounding borders with the help of its volunteers.
